Charlotte Joan Mollen

October 31, 1941 — May 21, 2016

On May 21, 2016 Charlotte Joan Mollen left her residence of twenty years in Kaukauna to reside in a new heavenly residential area called Heaven, to unite herself with the two loves of her life named Mom and Dad.

The feisty, spirited old gal of 69 years was gifted with a ton of attitude and was not afraid to use it. She was born the second child of Zeta Vandenberg and Emery Mollen. She grew up in the small town of Little Chute and later in her life took up residence in an Agape Home in Kaukauna.

Charlotte asked very little in life, as long as it was what she wanted. Her greatest joys were visits home, where all the holiday and birthday parties were held. She loved to shop and pick out new clothes. Charlotte enjoyed going to Salon Solozzo where Andrea would fix her hair and dye them a bright fiery red. She always did have a little bit of Lucy in her blood. She was a girl of few words. The house director made the comment that were about twelve words that she spoke fluently and ten of them were swear words, and she knew just how to use them.

Charlotte is survived by her sister Kathy (Tom) Ashauer, Kaukauna, three brothers; Nick (Rita) Mollen, Little Chute, Mark (Barbara) Mollen, Kaukauna, Steve (Debra) Mollen, Darboy. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Zeta Mollen, her younger brother Michael Mollen, her grandparents, August Mollen, Ann and Ted Lamers, Gertrude and Nick Vandenberg, her step father Nick Huisman, Steve and Deb's baby daughter, Angie and Kathy's son-in-law Mark Price.

A memorial service for Charlotte will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 4:00 PM at the FARGO FUNERAL HOME. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Charlotte will be laid to rest in St. John's Cemetery in Little Chute beside her brother Mike. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

The family would like to express their gratitude and great fullness to the staff at Agape 7 in Kaukauna. YOU OFTEN HEAR THE SAYING, THAT ANGELS WALK AMONG US. WELL I FOUND OUT THOSE WORDS WERE SO TRUE!!! The staff at Agape seven were some of those angels.

If I had to thank each and every one of those person, we would be here for days. Thru those twenty years so many thoughtful caring people were there for Charlotte, trying to make Charlotte's day just a little brighter; Qwen, Felisha, Melissa, Phil, Arlene, Sam, Lucelly, Timmi, Melanie, Lacy and Kelli, if I have forgotten anyone, please forgive me. Know that Charlotte's ability to express herself in words was limited, but know that she loved you all, with all her heart. More angels on earth can be found in Thedacare at Home Hospice Care, these caring and devoted professional people who are committed to making every person special, went above and beyond the call of duty at a time when caring and death with dignity is so important. I cannot imagine life without their help. Gold stars for all of you!!!!!

Finally a special little note of thanks from Charlotte.

Do not cry because I am gone, but rejoice, because I finally got to go home. Let the Party Begin!!!

Love from the Budlight girl

Charlotte
