Harold Phillips

Harold Phillips, 84, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on October 1, 2015 at Cherry Meadows.

Harold was born on June 5, 1931 to Myron and Julia (Carpenter) Phillips in the Town of Maine. He was united in marriage to Roberta Winterfeldt in Embarrass on October 9, 1954. Harold served in the US Army as a combat engineer in Korea and worked at Central Paper Products for 37 years until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter especially bow hunting. Harold and his family built a cottage in Goodman and the family made many special memories there. He also enjoyed gardening and had many apple and pear trees.

Survivors include his children, Barry (Cindy) Phillips, Neenah; Nick Phillips, Weyauwega, Wisconsin; Holly (Jim) Fisher, Neenah; and Wendy (Duane) Shukoski, Neenah; his grandchildren, Eric (Tara Stevenson) Phillips, Nicole (Luke) Scoles, Kristine (Steven Thomson)Phillips; Amber Dana (Colleen Swanson) Krueger; Amanda Fisher; Gavin Fisher; Ryan (Pam) Shukoski, Joel Shukoski and Marc Shukoski, three great grandchildren; Skyler Shukoski, Emerson Scoles and Evelyn Phillips, a brother Dale Phillips, two sisters; Gloria Anderson, and Betty (Jim) Arndt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Roberta and a brother John.

The funeral service for Harold will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Faith United Methodist Church 1025 Tullar Rd, Neenah, with Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
