Patricia "Pat" Northam

Patricia “Pat” Northam, age 77, of Menasha, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Pat was born on September 5, 1937 in Neenah, Wisconsin to the late Roy and Gertrude (Pozolinski) Kaufert. She graduated from Menasha High School in 1955.

Pat married the love of her life, James Northam, on November 23, 1958 at St. John the Baptist Parish in Menasha. Together they were blessed with four children, Mike, Sue, Rich and Tom.

She worked in the catering business for several years at Wanserski's, Pat truly enjoyed every minute of her time there. Some of her favorite things to make were cookies and her famous potato salad. Pat actually made her potato salad for her daughter, Sue's wedding, and drove it all the way to Vermont through the states in fear that if she where to take the short cut through Canada they would confiscate the potato salad. In addition to cooking she loved playing cards, Mahjong, knitting and theater.

Pat is survived by her four children, Mike (Karen) Northam, Sue (Craig) Wooster, Rich (Tracy) Northam and Tom (Christi) Northam; her seven grandchildren, Elisa (Morey) Vanden Heuvel, Thomas Wooster, Alex Wooster, Nick Northam, Mallory (Dustin) Dakin, Chuck (Sarah Williams) Northam and Neal Northam; three great grandchildren, Rowan, Perrin, and Archer Vanden Heuvel. She is further survived by her three siblings, Donald “Butch” (Penny) Kaufert, John “Jack” Kaufert and Kathy (Dan'l) Young and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, dear friends and her cat, Fergie.

In addition to her parents Pat was preceded in death by her husband James on March 4, 2005 and her mother-in-law, Bernice Northam “Nana”.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at WICHMANN FARGO TRI COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. with deacon Don Schultz officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Pat's name.
