Life Legacy
Aline M. Jungen, age 87, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2010, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Aline was born on October 3, 1922 in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Frank and Agnes “Mimi” (Doctor) Rose. On January 17, 1942, Aline was united in marriage to Leo Jungen, and they shared nearly 60 years together before his death on December 4, 2001. Aline was her husband’s partner and inspiration in their company, Graphic Composition. She was very proud of her three sons who were also involved in the family business. Aline loved owls and her favorite bird was the Baltimore Oriole. She also enjoyed playing the organ and listening to Polka music. JB was Aline’s dog and she took comfort knowing she was her companion during her pain and suffering.
Aline was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother and will be missed by her loving family. They include her two sons: Lee (Nancy) Jungen, Mark (Sue) Jungen; grandchildren: Don (Sue) Jungen, Kris (fiancé, Douglas Keyes) Jungen, Jennifer (Vasilis) Kallias, Laurie (Scott) Brewton, Sara (Nicholas) Exarhos, Jessica (special friend, John) Tushoski, Michael Jungen, Jennifer Jungen, Debra (Eric) Jack, Paul (Vicki) Jungen; many great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister, Denese “Denny” (Richard) Stobbe; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Jungen.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Eric “Rick” Jungen in 1995.
The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha, with Fr. Paul Radetski officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service at the church. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Franciscan Friars of Marytown, 1600 W. Park Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048 in Aline's name.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses, staff, and Sr. Dorothy of St. Paul Home (Birchwood) in Kaukauna and to Ellen and Sandy from St. Paul Hospice Services for the wonderful care they provided for our mother.
